I’ve been using the Amaroq Viktor riding boots for about 8–9 days now, mostly for daily commuting and regular office wear. Here’s my quick breakdown:
✅ Pros:
Fit & Comfort: The sizing is spot on for me, and surprisingly, I can wear it all day at the office without any discomfort. No major break-in issues either.
Protection: The boots feel sturdy and well-padded around the ankle, heel, and toe. I’m not entirely sure about shin protection since it's not a tall boot, but the areas that matter most in city riding seem well protected.
Style: One of the standout features – they look formal enough to be worn with office wear, which is rare in protective boots.
Sole & Grip: The sole feels solid with a good grip – it gives confidence both while riding and walking around.
General Build: Feels robust and well-constructed at first glance. It has thoughtfully placed a rubber protected patch on gear shifting area.
⚠️ Cons / Observations:
Loose Threads: I noticed 2-3 spots with stitch threads coming out, which raises a concern about long-term durability. It's not a dealbreaker yet, but something to keep an eye on.
Chain Guard (Velcro Cover) Missing: A Velcro patch to protect the entire chain contact area would’ve been a thoughtful addition. It might help with wear & tear and looks.
🚫 Not Tested Yet:
Waterproofing: Haven’t had a chance to ride in the rain, so can’t comment on how it performs in wet conditions. Will update after a proper test.
📝 Initial Verdict:
The Amaroq Viktor boots are a solid pick if you’re looking for a blend of protection, comfort, and office-friendly style. Aside from a few loose threads and the missing chain guard patch, it’s ticking all the right boxes so far. Long-term durability and waterproofing are things I’ll keep monitoring.
