Checklist for a Bike Ride
Going on a bike ride?
Did you check if you are biking ready?
Here is the list to be checked before you leave for a ride on your BEAST!!
The Checklist for a Bike ride:
A Physical Map
Yes! We do have Google Maps, but sometimes technology leaves us helpless like low charge or no signal. A map could come in handy.
Ear Plugs
Because normal highway riding does irreparable, but imperceptible, hearing damage. So it is advisable to carry a set of earplugs whenever you go on a bike ride even if your bike isn’t loud.
Second Pair of Gloves
There is NOTHING worse than a soaking pair of gloves and having a long day of riding ahead of you. Always carry an extra pair of gloves
Tool Kit
Motorcycles break. It’s part of life and being a motorcyclist takes a small toolkit anytime you venture away from your day to day riding.
Bluetooth Headset
The safest and the coolest way to talk to your buddies or keep a track of navigation. You can simply attach it to your helmets.
Fix-a-Flat
Because roads are full of surprises, stones, and nails which can definitely turn your bike flat, so a puncture repair kit is an instant and temporary aid at times of emergency. It can at least ensure an escape from a deserted area to a place where it can get fixed.Source: http://www.gaadighost.com/
Cash
Some places don’t accept card. It’s just silly not to keep a decent amount of cash on, you need fuel in some remote area that doesn’t take a card or help you out in whatever sticky situation you’ve gotten yourself into.
Battery Pack
You probably feel the need to Instagram/Tweet/Facebook every single part of your trip. Having your cell phone or Bluetooth headset die mid-trip is a bummer when you get into a new town and want any help.
Few Eateries
Chocolates, toffees, chips, chewing gums, mouth freshener, dry fruits, nutritional bites, etc. Pre-cooked food if possible, Small water bottle, say 500 ml.

Headlamp
Your bike’s battery/head light might break down and you might have to ride on a street without street lights. A headlamp can be your saviour during that time.
