Itinerary

Day 1New Delhi to Mandawa (235 km)

Early in the morning soon after a flag off, we embark on a journey to the princely state of Rajasthan. We ride towards the historic town of Mandawa to soak in a slice of Shekawati culture. Beside being an absolute favourite location for Bollywood movies, the town is also famously known as the ‘open air-art gallery’. Its stands true to the nick name and is a wonderful canvas set in stone and concrete. Enroute we will visit the famous Harlalka Well, this history of which is not well known. But its beautiful minarets and it’s old and forgotten appeal are ought to make this an enchanting experience. Soon after we will visit the Snehi Ram Ladia Haveli, where scenes from the well known movie ‘Bhajrangi Bhaijaan’ was shot. The haveli and its facades are a classic example of fresco paintings which were so popular during the Shekhwati regime. Be sure to keep your camera handy for some great pictures in this rustic setting. The evening is free for leisure. You can indulge in some great continental food thats easily available in this quaint town due to the foreign tourist influx. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 2Mandawa to Jodhpur (320 km)

Soon after breakfast we begin our rather relaxed ride to the ‘Blue City’ of Jodhpur. With great roads for company the ride is ought to be absolutely enjoyable and an absolute breeze. Our first pit stop would be the Mehrangarh Fort, which is one of the largest forts in India. It houses some of the precious relics exhibiting Indian chivalry life. Nestling on a rocky hill, the fort offers a breath taking view of Jodhpur. The evening is at leisure and you can walk around the local bazaar trying out some lip smacking street food. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 3Jodhpur to Jaisalmer (280 km)

The princely state is all about colours that bring your senses to life in ways beyond imagination. We begin our ride towards the Golden City of India – Jaisalmer. The colour comes from the yellow sand and yellow stone used in construction. We will ride to the Jaisalmer fort, where a quarter of the city’s population continues to live on. During your time in the city you will also encounter the heart melting hospitality and the people who are known for being the warmest in the county. In the evening, enjoy a sun downer on the Sam Sand Dunes while watching a beautiful sunset. Dinner is also served on the dunes under a starry sky. Overnight stay at campsite.

Day 4Jaisalmer - Longewala - Jaisalmer (240 km)

Today’s ride is going to be an adventurous one as we make our way to experience a significant part of history tucked away in the desert. Our day trip to the Longewala post will be sure to blow your mind away. Soon after Ramgarh the landscape changes and there are no human settlements for miles one end. And then we finally arrive at Tanot which is like an oasis in the desert. Legend has it that through the entire 1971 war the temple of Tanot survived the heavy shelling. The BSF has great faith in the supernatural powers of deity and maintains the temple premises. We continue our ride to the Longewala war memorial, which needs no introduction. It was erected in remembrance of the the soldiers who fought one of the most furious battles between India and Pakistan during the 1971 war. After having spent time at the memorial we ride back to Jaisalmer. The evening would be at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 5Jaisalmer to Udaipur (490 km)

Gear up for a long ride today as we cover almost 500 Kms going through the jungles and small hills. The city of Udaipur is known for its series of artificial lakes and royal residences. The site that is worth mentioning is Lake Pichola which has a complex of 11 beautiful palaces with beautiful peacock mosaics. The gleaming lake the fabulous palaces, havelis, temples and bustling markets with the majestic Aravalli Hillls in the backdrop, make Udaipur a picturesque destination. We will also ride to the City Palace which is great place of interest for travellers from across the world. The evening is at leisure and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 6Udaipur to Pushkar (280 km)

Our morning begins for a relaxed ride along the highway towards the  city of Pushkar which is nicknamed ‘Tirth Raj’. The nickname denotes its kinglike position of pilgrimage sites for Hindus as it houses the famous Lord Brahma Temple. We will also ride along the Pushkar Lake and make it in time for watching a great sunset. Pushkar is a very vibrant city and the cafe culture is quite prominent. You can spend the remainder of the evening exploring local markets. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 7 Pushkar to Jaipur (150 km)

Todays ride is again a leisurely one, but making it in time will allow us to spend time exploring the bustling ‘Pink City’ – Jaipur. Our first stop would be the Amer Fort which is perched on a hill in the suburbs of Jaipur. The fort was once the capital of the of Rajasthan. After spending some time soaking in the grandeur and magnificence of the fort and its architecture we ride towards the City Palace. The evening is at leisure and can be spent shopping in the charming markets of the Old City.Overnight stay at hotel.

    • Well well well… Thinking about a mototouring trip to Ladakh then you definitely dont have to think much and do endless research because they are the answer. Planned and meticulous in their approach. They are a fun team which make your experience way beyond your expectations. I must say that they are a perfect team to go for.. Down to earth and caring is how i can describe each one of them. “Hiren” i must say is a perfect captain and he just makes sure you are comfortable and have the best of experience.

    • Wouldn’t know where to start, but first I would like to say special thanks to Deval (manager) and Ronak (captain) you guys with out a doubt went out of your way and made our journey something we’ll remember for a life time including the night of my 30th birthday, so thank you. My partner and I flew over from New Zealand looking for a new experience, something real and authentic which is hard to find in today’s well-beaten path of travelling….. and you’ll delivered. The accommodation and food were excellent, the group was well organised and everything was provided for a carefree experience. The roads were challenging at times but that only adds to the experience. I’ve never been inspired to write a review before but you guys deserve an excellent. Well done.

    • Myself and my friends went on the X33 trip from Manali to Delhi via Lahual and Spiti in Jul 2017. With me i had the usual riders – Tanuj Poddar and Ramya Poddar but all the rest of us were 1st timers to riding. It was infact the first time i rode a bullet 500. From Day1 itself Sujal Bhai and Manish Bhai made us feel at home. We were briefed to ensure we were confident yet not overconfident to take risks. They also gave a day by day briefing and explained to us the riding terrain expected and kit to be worn. Safety of us riders was kept paramount and they ensured we took care while we took in the dream surroundings. Manish Bhai drove all the way from Siliguri on his trusted scorpio 4×4 and was the geography expert. Sujal Bhai was the riding captain and was more like a brother than the representative. Every place we stayed was amongst the best in that location and our food and entertainment was taken care of adequately. Akbar Bhai was the technical expert who ensured our bikes were fighting fit to take care of the treacherous terrain of lahaul & spiti. You can judge how much we jelled by the fact that first Sujal bhai cooked amazing Egg Bhurji and Pulao (on day 3) for all of us riders. Then Akbar bhai made amazing Chicken (day 6) for all of us despite riding for the whole day and being as tired as us, they made sure they cooked these dishes in the hotel kitchen for us. Wow!!! To summarize, the beautiful terrain was magnified by the beauty of these individuals who led us on our trip of Lahaul & Spiti in Jul 2017. Cheers and hope to ride with all of you again… soon…
